Digital Marketing Executive

NRG is delighted to be working alongside a national accommodation provider who are looking for a digital marketing executive to join their team in Newcastle. With a flexible approach and a ‘can-do’ attitude you will be helping to build the company brand to the market.


Main Purpose of Role

You will be responsible for developing, implementing, tracking and optimising our digital marketing campaigns across all digital channels includes PPC advertising, social media campaigns, SEO, and email campaigns.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Creating well-structured PPC campaigns to generate high-quality leads

  • Improve the customer conversation rate across the company website

  • Identifying ways to optimise customer journeys via analytics, insights, A/B testing and personalisation

  • Increase website traffic organically through SEO

  • Obtain campaign insights to optimize expenditure and performance

  • Creation of landing pages for various promotions, in line with our in-year marketing plan

  • Take ownership and of the business’ SEO strategy; monitor SEO and user engagement and improve through optimisation

  • Work with our customer service teams to achieve the smooth and consistent running of the company CRM software

  • Support teams in optimising their understanding and use of the CRM

  • Develop email lead generation and conversion campaigns

  • Measure and report performance of all digital marketing campaigns, and compare against goals (ROIs and KPIs)

  • To act as an ambassador of the Company and promote the company brand; displaying a positive image to customers and members of the public.

About you:

  • Experience in PPC, SEO and web traffic metrics

  • Strong understanding of brand management and B2C marketing

  • Experience in improving conversions across digital platforms

  • Understanding of social media strategy and KPIs

  • An analytical mind with experience in reporting on campaign performance

  • Ability to use and act on own initiative without instruction or direction

  • Able to work accurately and effectively under pressure

  • Analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Good verbal and written communication

  • Ability to diagnose and resolve problems quickly with excellent organisational skills

Experience working within the student /youth sector, Competent use of Adobe Suite including Photoshop, Illustrator is preferable

Salary: £25.000 plus 10% Performance bonus
