3rd Line Support Engineer

NRG are delighted to be working exclusively for a City Centre based IT service provider looking to grow their support team with an additional IT Support Engineer due to business expansion. We are looking for a real team-player with a friendly and professional approach to resolve technical support issues.

 

Key Responsibilities:
• Assist clients with diagnosis of issues via telephone, email or remote access

• Effectively managing support tickets based on client SLAs

• Provide an escalation point for unresolved tickets

• Maintain a high degree of customer service

• Take ownership of client problems

• Update client documentation

• Provide advice and training to clients

 

Required Technical Knowledge:

• Microsoft Operating Systems (Desktop and Server)

• Virtualization Platforms (Hyper-V and VMware)

• Networking and Security

• Cloud IdP Technology

• Backup Solutions

• Email Platforms

• Endpoint Management

 

Salary - £28,000 - £33,000 DOE
