NRG are working exclusively with a dynamic and growing IT service provider based in Newcastle. Our client is looking to recruit an additional IT Support Engineer to their team to assist with technical support queries across a variety of products maintaining a high level of customer service. This is an excellent opportunity for a candidate looking for progression and professional development.
Ensure all SLAs are met
Work as part of a structured team and escalate issues when needed
Take ownership of user problems, perform a technical diagnosis and fix the issue either remotely or on-site.
Supporting users in the use of computer equipment, providing training and advice when necessary
Previous experience working on a help desk, preferably at an MSP.
Good working knowledge of Microsoft based OS.
Experience troubleshooting MS Office.
Knowledge of AD/anti-virus and backup products.
Excellent telephone manner
