NRG are currently working with a well-established client in the Washington who are looking to recruit an experienced SQL DBA. Our client is going through a huge organisational refresh of their integral systems and therefore require individuals who are well experienced in design, implementation and maintenance of resilient application databases.

There will be a variety of projects to head up including migrations to later versions with the view to migrate into the cloud, replacement of the HR system and various ETL projects.

Responsibilities:

• Database design.

• Management of multiple SQL databases.

• Plan and implement upgrades and migrations.

• Development of robust technology solutions.

• Manage a small team of DBA's.

To be successful in this role you will need to be able to demonstrate a good understanding of:

• Microsoft SQL Server.

• Database administration and an ability to deliver robust technical solutions.

• Oracle experience is beneficial but not essential.
