NRG are working with an exceptional client based in Gateshead who are looking to expand their team with the addition of an experienced Systems Engineer. The successful candidate will work directly the client’s customers in order to resolve various hardware, software and project issues either remotely or on site. This will require the ability to work with teams from various areas of the business working on all levels of technical support and engineering.
Work remotely and directly with clients to implement fixes and solutions. (Will involve ad hoc travel to client sites).
Perform various component and firmware upgrades.
Asses issues through fault diagnostics and perform hardware repairs.
Deliver a high quality of professionalism for multiple tasks from change requests and installations to handovers and continued support.
Provide technical expertise to internal teams to support in pre-sales.
Hands on IT support experience at various levels.
Experience dealing directly with customers.
Proven track record of successfully resolving technical issues.
Strong background in either VMware and other Microsoft products, or Citrix and Xenapps.
