NRG are delighted to be working with a rapidly growing IT business providing end-to-end business technology including infrastructure, connectivity, voice, managed and support service solutions. Our client is looking to recruit a motivated and experienced 3rd Line Support Team Leader will be responsible for managing a team of engineers and assisting with a wide range of technical issues.
Supervising, mentoring and developing a team of third line engineers
Resolving complex IT issues in the form of incidents and problems
Identify reoccurring technical faults and liaising with other internal departments or external customers
Identifying potential future technical issues and presenting these to the Escalations Manager
Managing critical IT outages with customers and using the Escalations team to quickly and efficiently resolve the situation.
Skills and Experience Required:
At least 5 years’ experience in IT
Ability to manage team members effectively
Excellent understanding of general server, storage and networking technologies.
CCNA or CCNP
Strong troubleshooting ability
Excellent communication skills
You may, on occasion, be required to work at customer locations across the UK.
It is expected that the successful candidate will be able to accommodate changes in their working hours and available to work weekends and evenings if required.
