NRG are delighted to be working with a rapidly growing IT business providing end-to-end business technology including infrastructure, connectivity, voice, managed and support service solutions. Our client is looking to recruit a 3rd Line Senior Support Engineer will be responsible for investigating a range of technical issues and supporting the Team Leader when required.
At least 5 years experience in IT
Excellent communication skills
Strong understanding of Microsoft Server, SAN, virtualization and networking technologies
Strong troubleshooting ability
High level of technical skills
The position offered is based out of the Gateshead Head Office. However, you may, on occasion, be required to work at customer locations throughout the UK.
The working hours are normally Monday to Friday, 09:00-17:30, although extended hours may be required to cover 7am to 7pm.
It is expected that the successful candidate will be able to accommodate changes to their working hours and be available to work weekends & evenings as required.
