Our international manufacturing client is looking for a Strategic Procurement Manager to join them on a permanent basis.
Working with external suppliers, customers and internal stakeholders to ensure that the needs of the customer are continually met and exceeded
Responsibility for developing the global procurement strategy of the business
Developing strong relationships with a range of global suppliers over the full product life-cycle
Improve and deploy strategic procurement processes and systems
Carry out commercial and contract management negotiations with suppliers
Proactive supplier risk management with development and deployment of mitigation plans
Experience of management experience within a strategic procurement function
Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
Excellent negotiating and influencing skills
Values driven leader who can build high performing teams
Proven track record of supplier performance management across all aspects
This a full time role and occasional travel will be required in order to build and monitor the supplier base.
