My client is a growing digital marketing agency with several UK offices that is looking to drive its growth in Newcastle with the appointment of a Business Development Manager. I am looking to speak to candidates who have experience in a Business Development capacity in a digital marketing agency OR a tenacious B2B sales/BD candidate with an exceptional track record looking for a new challenge. This role has a lot of responsibility as you target clients of all levels up to blue chip companies. Additionally you will take charge of the business development strategy with several Business Development Executives to help you reach your goals.
This is a role in which you will work closely with the MD of this national digital marketing agency and there is excellent progression and rewards for the right candidate.
-Have 2-5+ years experience in a business development/sales capacity within agency or B2B sales
-Be able to gain new clients for the business
-Identify the right clients who align with the agency values with a view for repeat business
-Be an excellent negotiator
-Be tenacious in securing new business for the agency
-Be happy to lead and guide a team of executives
