Purchase Ledger Administrator - 12 Months Maternity Cover

NRG is working with an excellent company in the North East who are looking to bring an experienced, talented Purchase ledger Administrator to cover maternity leave for a period of 12 months.

The Job

  • Monday to Friday 8:30am – 17:00pm

About the Role:

  • Post all purchase invoices and credit notes

  • Reconcile supplier statements

  • Manage and prepare supplier payment runs

  • Deal with all supplier queries

  • Chase short and missing supplier deliveries

  • Create Purchase Orders for Marketing and Technical

  • Processing all credit card and cash expenses

  • Managing all credit card balance limits and transaction queries

  • Supplier Rebate Calculation

About You

  • Prior Purchase Ledger experience

  • Excellent communication (verbal, written, formal presentations) skills

  • Strong interpersonal skills

  • Positive, energetic and enthusiastic approach

  • Able to instigate and manage solutions to operational problems

  • Using initiative to ensure best outcomes for customer deliveries

  • Able to build relationships (both internal and external)

  • Able to prioritise and work under pressure

  • Well organised and methodical work ethic

  • Good cost control ethic by challenging overhead costs when necessary

  • Having a working knowledge of SAP would put you at an advantage
