Purpose of the role

You will have an understanding of customer behaviour and market place opportunities in an e-commerce business, testing different activities to reach new shoppers. Being a Brand Champion, you will ensure consistent communication through imagery, tone of voice and campaign planning.

 

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • To work closely with the Managing Director and Creative Director on strategic plans and sales targets.

  • Drive meaningful traffic to the website through a mix of initiatives and channels, aligning all campaigns across channels for consistency and impact.

  • Managing the Digital Marketing Manager to deliver against set objectives and drive traffic and revenue through Organic and Social channels.

  • Research and implement Programmatic Marketing to include acquisition and remarketing, monitor carefully ROI results and adjust bids accordingly.

  • Developing an off-line plan for TV, OOH or print to be managed in a cost-effective way to compliment and drive additional traffic to the site.

  • Strategically manage agency relationships.

  • Manage the overall Marketing budget for the year, tracking all invoices, monitoring spend both weekly and monthly to be able to report to Finance the current position at any time throughout the month.

 

Desired Skills and Experience:

The ideal candidate needs to already be operating at management level and have a strong career in digital marketing.

 

  • Strong understanding of current online marketing concepts, strategy and best practice.

  • Highly creative marketing professional with strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking with an accurate eye for detail.

  • Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in online marketing and measurement.

  • Proven track record in a similar retail company, with multi product experience required, ideally within a mail order environment an advantage.

  • Effective people management, team building and strong communication skills

  • You will be a commercially astute and confident decision maker, communicating with impact across all levels..

  • You will have an entrepreneurial spirit with proven track record of creating a business and buying strategy in a dynamic environment.
