An exciting opportunity has arisen for an HR Business Partner for our client, a large public sector organisation based in the North East.
The role will focus on supporting a transformation project across the business and has a strategic focus. Key areas of responsibility will include: -
Working as a strategic partner to Director and Senior Managers, building and maintaining professional working relationships, by understanding key drivers, risks and opportunities from a people perspective
Supporting and enabling line managers, via coaching and mentoring process to enable people and performance management elements of their role to be delivered against expectations and organisational demands
Manage senior E.R. caseload effectively
Champion HR initiatives to enable shared learning across the business
Provide regular feedback to leadership on people-based initiatives linked to KPI’s – highlighting issues and suggesting area for improvement
Manage all H.R. processes professionally and fairly and consistently in line with best practice, legal and organisational requirements
Manage priorities between case load and project work to deliver agenda for change
An experienced and confident HR professional is required, qualified CIPD or equivalent and with several years post qualification generalist HR experience, ideally gained within a diverse range of organisations with demonstrable experience of change management and project delivery. The ability to coach and influence at senior level, driving and facilitating change and driving performance, whilst concurrently maintaining the ongoing requirements of the organisation will be key to success in this position. The role is for an initial 6 month fixed term to support the leadership during a transformation programme.
