We are seeking an independent member to join our customer services committee, which focusses on service delivery and improvement, customer experience and insight with compliance with consumer standards across our social housing business. As such, experience in customer services, operational performance, customer involvement and tenant scrutiny would be desirable.
If you have substantial senior management and preferably board level experience in this field, gained within a large and complex organisation, we can offer an exceptional opportunity to use your talents to make a positive difference to the lives of people in your community.
Fundamentally we are looking for someone that shares our passion for Social Housing and who will champion the needs of our tenants and customers, helping us to make sure their voice is heard and priorities understood.
You will share our values and have the ability to focus on strategy. You will also have the credibility to constructively challenge and work collaboratively with committee members to help develop and deliver our strategic plans.
Prior experience of the Housing Sector is not essential as we are considering applicants from any industry sector, and we will provide a comprehensive induction programme, supported by on-going learning and development.
For practical purposes, we would prefer applicants to be resident in the North East.
