Head of Marketing

Salary: £50,000 - £55,000

Main purpose of the role:

As the regional marketing lead you will work with the wider regional team to develop and gain buy in to all marketing campaigns and use data to drive future strategy and decisions and build brand reputation.

 

  • Develop a fully costed annual regional marketing plan that drives revenue growth, customer engagement and is consistent with the overarching marketing strategy.

  • Overseeing all regional PR and events.

  • Provide a longer term plan to successfully deliver the regional plan and develop local activity that supports or adds to the nationwide campaigns.

  • Brief and ensure local social, PR and e-CRM marketing activities to support the regional activity goals.

  • Brief where appropriate market research to be able to quantify how marketing will improve business performance and following implementation of strategy measure effectiveness and improvements in business performance.

  • Ensure all regional marketing plans incorporate new and evolving technologies and channels

  • Report on marketing performance; manage feedback from key stakeholders and lead improvement actions.

  • Participate in cross functional team working with the other regional heads of marketing and centrally to the Marketing Director.

 

Person specification

 

  • Extensive marketing experience gained from working at a senior level

  • A very high level of creativity balanced with commercial awareness gained from working closely with both finance and commercial teams.

  • Excellent communication, presentation and organisational skills.

  • Significant project management experience linked to multi-channel campaigns and promotions

  • Commitment to personal development and development of direct reports.

  • Initiative and enthusiasm.

  • The ability to work calmly under pressure

  • First-class written and verbal communication skills are essential

  • Confident manner, with the ability to communicate at multiple levels

  • An infectious enthusiasm for marketing and the customer
