HR Payroll and Systems Manager
Our client based in the North East is experiencing an exciting period of growth. As a result they have a rare opportunity to join the business in their HR department as Payroll & Systems Manager.
This is a newly created position and the right person will be an expert in their field, yet someone who enjoys collaborating closely and being part of the wider HR Team.
Responding effectively and rapidly to payroll queries across the business, showing a high level of empathy and appreciation towards internal customers
End of year processes, P45’s
Processing starters, movers, leavers
Project leading and implementing the transition to a new payroll structure
Providing an overview of a new payroll system
Payroll administration (imputing timesheets etc.)
Annual leave purchase
Continued training and education for the HR team
Payroll analysis i.e. overtime and cost implication, gender pay gap, cost of living etc.
CSP and SSP payments and calculations
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced payroll manager to develop an internal payroll department and be part of a lovely HR team. You must be resilient and able to work well under pressure, often to deadlines and be willing to travel when required on occasion.
Advanced Excel skills are a must with the ability to do V look ups and pivot tables and you must be comfortable learning their HR system and running reports from there also.
