Our national transport client is looking for a HSE Coordinator to join them on a fixed term basis in order to cover maternity leave.

Job Role

  • Ensuring that the business continually promotes a safety and environment awareness culture, engaging staff at all levels positively and seeking to prevent work related ill health and injury

  • Establishing effective working relationships with each depot team to promote a proactive safety culture amongst all employees to drive continuous improvement

  • Conducting site Health, Safety and Environment inspections and prepare detailed, accurate reports in a timely manner

  • Providing reactive support as required to each depot team at the direction of the Regional HS&E Manager

  • Assisting with the investigation of all accidents reportable in accordance with Riddor


  • Hold Nebosh Certificate in Occupational H&S and be able to demonstrate a general safety awareness relevant to the work activities within the business

  • You will be self-motivated

  • Be able to work independently and work as part of a team

  • have the ability to manage a demanding workload with an emphasis on meeting deadlines
