Our client is a renowned national data utilities, transport and commutation business with a workforce of over 10,000 staff and a turnover in excess of 1 billion pounds.

The Processes Manager will work with the Performance teams and external service providers to deliver exceptional performance in Data Collection. Utilising their experience and skills to optimise and re-engineering relevant processes to give efficient, cost effective services. The Processes Manager will also be responsible for managing and maintaining good strong customer relationships whilst presenting operational performance MI.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Key in the development of Data Collection Energy core business activities and facilitate the provision of added value services through process change.

  • Liaises, DC-E Performance Management, IT department and senior management regarding process efficiencies and outputs acting as a process expert .

  • Represent DC-E at meetings with both internal and external stake holders

  • Owns the DC-E communications Process working with partners and service providers to optimise performance for all customers.

  • Oversee the management of process mapping and MI provision, whilst also assisting with contract stabilisation via process maturity and innovation.

  • Lead Business Process Improvement projects and initiatives

  • Carries out other project work and duties as required from time to time

  • Ensure customer satisfaction through the increasing delivery of key performance metrics relevant to each customer

  • Embed a strong health and safety culture focussed on driving the business into a proactive perspective

  • Drive forward continual improvement in line with operating businesses strategy over the coming FYS

  • Strong leadership and man management abilities

  • Delivers excellent service to both internal and external customers

  • Ability to communicate at all levels from Managing Director down to entry level positions

  • Data Analysis – be able to take raw data and create meaningful MI and give valuable Data Insight from it

  • Excellent problem solving techniques

  • Ability to develop strong, productive relationships with internal and external stakeholders

  • Ability to deal with complexity and conflicting priorities with ease

  • Coding experience e.g. SQL development capabilities, Perl, Shell or equivalent etc

  • Utilities industry knowledge and experience



Skills and Qualifications:


  • Proficient verbal and written communications skills

  • Adept at using office products such as Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Project and Word and/or Google equivalents to create MI

  • Confident and strong presentational skills

  • Previous Project Management experience/qualifications

  • Past business process re-engineering experience

  • Educated to degree level

  • Knowledge of Data Management best practices

  • Knowledge of Process Improvement techniques, i.e Lean Six Sigma
