Finance Administrator

Location: North Tyneside

Salary: 19,500 pro rata

NRG is working with a reputable client in the public sector who is looking for a Finance Administrator to provide key financial support on a part time basis for 16 hours per week (equivalent annual salary £8,320).

About the Role

You will be responsible for;

  • Accounts Payable and invoice processing

  • Accounts Receivable, including chasing outstanding debt

  • Logging all incoming and outgoing payments

  • Setting up payment schedules to send to the bank

  • Bank Reconciliations to Xero accounting software

  • Supplier statement reconciliations

  • Liaising with sub contractors

  • An element of cash flow forecasting

  • Other general Ad-hoc duties.

About You

  • Experience using Xero accounting software is desirable

  • You will have experience working in an accounts role

  • Ability to work independently and use your own initiative to solve problems

  • Excellent Excel skills

  • Good organisational skills

  • Ability to work at a sufficient speed
