NRG is working exclusively with this client. They are looking for an organised and disciplined Sales Executive to join their B2B "Gatherers Team". The role involves NO cold calling or outbound calls - it's all warm enquiries from prospects and it'll be your job to move the prospect to the next stage of the sales process.
This is not a customer service role and you'll be responsible for dealing with the first contact for these exceptionally high value sales enquiries.
The client has significant customers including palaces, the police and windfarms.
My client is a multi-award winning and highly innovative LED lighting manufacturer operating in the video surveillance and hazardous area markets. Our products are world leading and exclusively manufactured on-site at our HQ in Ashington, UK, and exported all around the world. We require a Sales Executive to help respond to incoming sales leads and deliver on our ambitious growth plans as the company targets CAGR of 15% for the next 3 years on the back of a record year in 2018.
2/3 weeks per year at trade shows, visiting customers or at sales events.
PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
Be the first point of contact for incoming sales enquiries
Maximise sales opportunities by providing high quality customer service to incoming marketing qualified leads
Be the first point of contact for incoming technical support and specification questions.
Be responsible for the Live Chat function, providing excellent support, and maximising use of the system functionality to delivery increased quantity and quality of customer interaction.
Ensure all customer enquiries are dealt with in the most professional and speedy manner
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Respond to incoming leads promptly and effectively.
Man Live Chat and propose suggestions to improve reach/quality of response
First stage follow-up to all new marketing leads
Record customer feedback on products and services - both positive and negative
Day to day contact with key account and customers
Identify and develop sales opportunities with existing customers
Identify and develop new customers
Initial point of contact for pricing and product availability
Prepare and deliver quotations to customers
Assist customers with correct product selection and scheme design
Provide training to key customers, in person, or utilising technology to deliver training remotely
First line support for technical support queries
Make effective use of the CRM
Provide in-office back-up to the business development team when they are travelling.
Be responsible for growing sales with customers in designated target vertical and geographic markets
Establish and develop relationships with key customers
Record and track opportunities and projects from enquiry to delivery through the CRM system
Act as a conduit between our client and its Customers, driving our client's products and strategies through to customers, and providing feedback from the market into our client
Work particularly closely with marketing to help shape the content they create and ensure it addresses what our customers are asking for.
08.30 – 17:00 Monday-Thursday, 8.30-2.30 Friday as standard
