NRG is working with an apprenticeship training provider that offer a tech-focussed training solution to learners as well as businesses across the UK. Outline of the role:


The team of Business Consultants care about the employer and apprentice securing their first job. The organisation always goes above and beyond for everyone to ensure they have a successful career. This role will belong in their New Business team, providing a crucial part of a solution to the skills gap in the UK. Graduate and Junior Business Consultants are responsible for beginning the recruitment journey with potential clients and educating them on the benefits of hiring an apprentice.


A typical day will involve:


  • Identify opportunities by contacting businesses across the North East in accordance to the territory you are assigned to as agreed by the organisation

  • Contacting businesses over the phone, email, social media, news articles, partner referrals and working collaboratively with the Marketing team to identify opportunities, resulting in booking appointments with employers for Business Development Manager's to attend

  • Asking a range of open questions to help you find out about the prospect and what their current needs are moving forward

  • Liaising with the Resourcing team on quality candidates and speaking to employers about those candidates in order to find them an apprenticeship opportunity

  • Sourcing and attending networking events nationally to network with potential clients - you will be expected to promote the brand as well as build your own contact database for the future


What we are looking for:


  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills as you will be required to contact senior members of staff at prospects and be confident asking a range of questions

  • You must be highly ambitious as the business thrive on supporting each individual throughout their career

  • You must be naturally self-motivated and possess the right attitude when working towards targets

  • You must be able to demonstrate some experience working in a professional work environment e.g. Customer Service, Sales, Consultancy, Technology
