Our client is looking for an experienced Facilities Coordinator to join them based across a couple of sites in Newcastle.

Job Role

  • Support the Facilities Manager to deliver a diverse range of facilities activities across the business.

  • Coordinating the services and activities of internal and external supply arrangements (e.g. cleaning, porterage, window cleaning, waste, grounds maintenance, etc)

  • Provide 1st line management, supervision and coaching of resources across a range of disciplines

  • Support the FM in the creation and communication of appropriate activity Risk Assessments across teams, updating where necessary

  • Sickness and absence management of direct reports, collating management reports and leading on staff management processes with the support of HR and senior management.

Skills/Experience

  • Experience of delivering FM service solutions

  • Experience of managing and procuring 3rd part supplier goods and services

  • Experience of effectively managing large groups of staff

  • Budget monitoring and control

  • IOSH Health & Safety
