Our client is one of the North East’s leading and most established organisations. Due to recent investment, they are going through a period of transformation and growth and now looking for an experienced Inside Sales Manager to join the organisation to build a successful sales team.

 

You will be a key part of the sales leadership within the manufacturing team. Responsible for managing a large sales team, split by account managers tasked with the growth of existing customer revenue, retention and business development representatives driving field sales meetings for the product portfolio.

 

Key responsibilities:

 

  • Create and develop an inside sales team

  • Driving a high-performance, positive and professional team culture by leveraging coaching, mentoring, training and personal development plans for the sales team

  • Managing the activities that are required to create the necessary pipeline in order to meet, and exceed upsell, retention & achieve/exceed targets

  • Engaging with customers through multiple communication methods, ensuring the team is leveraging all resources to support customer requests

  • Networking effectively cross business to achieve success

  • Building relationships and servicing customers

  • Working in a complex business and simplifying for success

  • Selling solutions to marketing professionals, MD's and Senior Executives in small-medium size businesses

  • Achieving and exceeding set individual/team targets

  • Providing a first class customer experience at all times

 

Skills and experience required:

 

  • Proven sales leadership and team development ability

  • Proven inside sales team management

  • Strong history of leading teams to exceed sales targets and other associated KPIs

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

  • Accurate forecasting skills

  • Ability to adapt to change, identify requirements and create process improvements for continued success

  • Experience and understanding of architectural, construction/building industry and SaaS technology is desirable

  • Experience of creating an inside sales team is desirable

  • Proficient IT skills - Microsoft Office and CRM systems
