Are you an energetic and accomplished B2B Business Development Manager with experience of developing relationships with the public sector?
Wave, a joint venture between Anglian Water Business and NWG Business, look after the water, waste water, gas and electricity needs of over 300,000 businesses across England, Scotland and Wales. Headquartered in Durham and with a main office in Peterborough, WAVE launched in April 2017 in response to market deregulation.
Due to continued success, Wave are now looking for a credible, passionate and dynamic BDM to join their team.
Working from home and reporting to the Head of Public Sector Business, you’ll be responsible for identifying, developing and closing new contacts with public sector bodies and framework providers across England. You’ll promote water and water recycling services in conjunction with a range of value adding services. From initial customer contact to onboarding, you’ll own the sales process, ensuring credible and professional customer service and therefore a high conversion rate.
You’ll have the support of an established Bid and Sales Support Team, and a network of passionate colleagues across this hugely successful business.
You’ll have experience of selling to the public sector directly and via framework bodies. You don’t need utilities experience- but an understanding of the sector would be an advantage. You can be based anywhere, but must be flexible to travel across England. This role is B2B so is a Monday to Friday role.
