Our client is established organisation within the Aviation Sector. Due to growth and expansion they are looking to recruit an Aviation Development Analyst.
Responsibilities will include:
To identify profitable opportunities for new business through market analysis and to develop business cases for such capacity acquisition in line with the Aviation Development strategy or, where appropriate, recommend variations to the strategy.
To develop industry contacts, produce material and give sales presentations to airlines, tour operators and other organisations in support of achieving sustainable passenger growth at the airport.
To participate in airline/tour operator negotiations undertaking any necessary preparation and follow-up work
To prepare and present the aeronautical budgets and reforecasts for sign off, by accurately forecasting passenger numbers and aeronautical revenues.
To create daily / weekly / monthly / annual analysis routines and KPI performance reports, monitoring performance against the aeronautical budgets undertaking any necessary investigations to comment upon actual performance vs. budget and reforecast.
To put in place processes which enable market analysis for key markets to be monitored on an on-going basis and to extract maximum value from the information gathered to drive additional capacity and/or improved yields from airlines
To ensure that market awareness of any capacity on sale from the airport is maximized through close working with other commercial departments and that particular focus is given to flights which are at risk of being lost or recently launched
To work closely with the Commercial and Operational departments to ensure that information is available to both departments which helps decision making and improved understanding of performance and trends.
To keep up to date with industry news and developments.
To ensure provision of excellent customer service to both internal and external customers
You will have a strong analytical background and used to analyzing and presenting market trends to internal and external colleagues/clients. You will be confident and have some BD experience and be able to present your findings competently. You will have a Bachelor Degree or equivalent. There will be some travel involved approx 2-3 trips per month.
Salary: £27,000 - £32,000 plus excellent benefits that include:
