NRG are delighted to be working with Raytec, an independent UK based company developing award winning LED lighting products from their site in the UK to over 70 countries world-wide in their distribution network.

Due to recent growth, they are now looking to recruit a Sales Executive to join their hazardous area division. This is an excellent opportunity to join a rapidly growing, market leading business whilst playing a key role in building relationships with existing customers to maximise long-term revenue.

Outline of the role:

Reporting into the Director of Hazardous Area Division you will be responsible for growing the sales for the division whilst maintaining and developing relationships with the existing customer base internationally. You will offer outstanding support, knowledge and advise to Raytec customers whilst responding to customer enquiries in the best way to maximise sales.

Key responsibilities will include (but not limited to):

  • Be the first point of call to incoming customer enquiries via web forms, live chat or emails and maximise sales value and sales conversion from these enquiries

 

  • Day to day contact with key accounts and customers

 

  • Identify and develop sales opportunities with new and existing customers

 

  • Initial point of contact for pricing and product availability

 

  • Provide all the supporting information and technical knowledge to allow the customers to win projects against competition

 

  • First line technical support and troubleshooting

 

Skills and experience required:

  • You must be able to demonstrate a key interest in developing your career in sales and customer service

  • Experience of working in business to business sales

  • Strong commercial awareness

  • Able to learn quickly and retain technical information

  • Excellent verbal communication skills

The working hours will be 08:30-17:00 Monday-Thursday and 08:30-14:30 Friday. In addition to this, you are rewarded with an annual bonus for all targets that have been met as well as well as training to develop your understanding on the product range and technical information to help you grow the Raytec brand.
