Purchasing Administrator

Location: North Tyneside

Salary: £18,000-£22,000

NRG is currently recruiting for a Purchasing Administrator to join a well known manufacturing client in North Tyneside.

Duties of the role include:-

  • Maintaining administration processes which support the running of an effective Supply Chain

  • Communicate effectively and build strong working relationships with all internal customers and suppliers

  • Raising of purchase orders and communicating demands to suppliers

  • Deal with invoice queries to avoid recurring issues

  • Communicate any supply issues with relevant departments

  • Identify any improvements to help streamline future activities

  • Review outstanding purchase orders

  • Assist with recovery of costs

  • Ensure compliance

  • Any other reasonable duties

To be considered for the role you must have:-

  • Recent and considerable experience in a purchasing administration role within a manufacturing environment

  • Experience of MS Word

  • Excellent communication skills

  • The ability to work alone and as part of a team
