NRG is currently recruiting for a Purchasing Administrator to join a well known manufacturing client in North Tyneside.
Duties of the role include:-
Maintaining administration processes which support the running of an effective Supply Chain
Communicate effectively and build strong working relationships with all internal customers and suppliers
Raising of purchase orders and communicating demands to suppliers
Deal with invoice queries to avoid recurring issues
Communicate any supply issues with relevant departments
Identify any improvements to help streamline future activities
Review outstanding purchase orders
Assist with recovery of costs
Any other reasonable duties
To be considered for the role you must have:-
Recent and considerable experience in a purchasing administration role within a manufacturing environment
Experience of MS Word
Excellent communication skills
The ability to work alone and as part of a team
