NRG are working exclusively with a large organisation in the healthcare sector and due to their continued growth are looking to recruit an Assistant Applications Specialist to join their digital services team.

Starting Salary: £20,000 + pay progression + fantastic benefits including:

  • To Support the efficient administration of the clinical and business applications throughout the Trust.


  • To troubleshoot and resolve Help Desk calls in a timely manner and in line with Trust standards and service levels in relation to application incidents.


  • To help ensure high availability, security and usability of Trust applications.

  • To minimise downtime of the applications by providing pro-active support and a rapid response when problems arise.

  • To maintain procedures and documentation of Applications under the control of computer services department.

  • To ensure the smooth running of all applications within the relevant business unit across the Trust by providing effective administration and change control.

  • Monitor Applications and implement fixes as required.

  • To participate in the implementation of new applications as required.



  • Formal qualifications Higher National Diploma in a computer related discipline or equivalent level of knowledge.


  • At least 1 years experience of using or managing business or clinical applications or equivalent knowledge.

  • Must be able to communicate effectively with all levels of users.

  • Experience of IT technologies.

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office and Windows


  • Must be able to work without close supervision


  • Experience of clinical diagnostic applications
