In the second of the series we will look at ‘Bullying in the Workplace’. The event will take place at Tyne and Wear Fire and Rescue Service HQ, Sunderland.
Kate Shahid, Coach, Facilitator and Founder of OD Exchange will run this session and explore bullying, what it is, how we can prevent it and how to deal with it effectively in the workplace.
The session will cover the following topics –

- Why people bully
- Types of bully
- The impact of bullying on the workplace and beyond
- Creating safe and fulfilling cultures
Paul Scope, Partner at Ward Hadaway will be on hand to advise on the requirements of organisations to responsibly deal with the issue and legally protect themselves.
At the end of the session guests will have the opportunity to watch a live demonstration at the Fire & Rescue Training Centre.
