Manufacturing Growth Network – comprehensive Q3 review
Insider has today published the first edition of the Manufacturing Growth Network (MGN).
The new online format reveals the first set of quarterly tables which set out the region’s best performing manufacturing businesses, focusing on results in turnover, productivity, exports and various HR issues*.
The top ten performing businesses in the four categories have been determined on incremental rather than absolute growth, so as to be fair to companies of all sizes.
Also highlighted in the MGN are manufacturers’ success stories including those that are forging ahead in markets at home and abroad, investing in new product development, new machinery and people; creating valuable jobs, and exporting to new and exciting global markets.
Alongside each of the tables, a spotlight has been shone on one of the top ten businesses in an interview with its leader. Insider found out how and why they have performed so well over the last quarter and what strategies they have to continue this success in the future.
In addition, there are thoughts and insights from the MGN partner organisations, NRG, EY, Square One Law, Lloyds Bank as well as a sector review from trade body the EEF. The analyses and evaluations of the performance of North East manufacturers provides further clarity on the sector as all have specialist sector knowledge and expertise.
