Louise Reed, Head of Client Solutions at greenbean by NRG, talks about her role within the business, what sets NRG and our recruitment solutions apart and how we offer to clients service #LikeNoOther.
What is your role within NRG?
My role at NRG is Head of Client Solutions for greenbean, which is the RPO service division at NRG. What head of client solutions means in essence is that I’m responsible for business development across the greenbean division, linking in with the rest of NRG. I’m also responsible for client relationship management, leading some of our key business partnerships.
What sets us apart in recruitment solutions?
The difference here is the people; everybody I’ve come across within the business is very much bought in to the strategy of the organisation. What sets us apart are the management teams and the directorship, they’re heavily involved in the day to day operations of the business. For me on a personal level it means I can make decisions quickly- if it’s right for the business, if it’s right for the team and if it’s right for the end client then I can pretty much make the decision to do it.
What makes NRG a great place to work?
We’re an entrepreneurial business; there are no limits to what people can achieve here – the business is extremely people development focused. What’s also great about greenbean and NRG is the diversity of the client base we’ve got. Our consultants are working with amazing brands such as Atom Bank, Barbour, Burberry, Calsonic Kansei and Husqvarna. There is a huge diversity there, we deal with global blue chips, SMEs, manufacturing through to healthcare. It’s hugely impressive our client base for an SME and that’s continuing to grow, so the access for a recruiter coming in to the business to that client base is really unsurpassed in the North East.
How do you see NRG and greenbean developing?
We’re seeing the biggest growth through our client partnership model, specifically within on demand RPO. What that means is where clients have internal recruitment functions and HR functions they need a trusted partner to get them through peaks and troughs of their annual recruitment strategy. What that means for us as a business is we need skilled recruiters, who are extremely consultative and who understand niche markets. We want to continue to challenge in that RPO space and for that to happen we need to continue to hire exceptional talent, for me that means developing the talent to be the best it can be.
