A strong forward order book has led metal roofing and cladding systems manufacturer CA Group to not only expand its facility in Evenwood, County Durham, but to make process improvements to further boost its productivity.
The focus on efficiency gains and cost reductions has seen the company make numerous changes to the way the business operates.
Speaking to Insider as part of the Manufacturing Growth Network, Neil Alderson, the company’s managing director of building products, said: “We have made a conscious effort to surround ourselves with meaningful data allowing us to continually monitor our performance and strive to achieve excellence.
