About the role

One of the UK’s leading utility data services providers is looking for Dual Fuel Meter Installers to join them on a permanent basis throughout the country.

Job Role

As a Dual Fuel Meter Engineer, you will be primarily responsible for the safe installation, maintenance and removal of smart meters (SMETS2) in domestic properties, whilst also responding to any ongoing maintenance or emergency appointments. You will strive to provide excellent customer service to customers ensuring they are well informed on the benefits and safe usage of their new smart meter.

• Installation of Smart Meters in Domestic Properties

• Working on both Dual and Single Installs

• Planning of your working day to maximise efficiency and output

• Work safely and to Standard Operating Procedures

Skills/Experience

• Hold current CCN1/CMA1 & MET1 qualification or an equivalent aligned qualification

• Have previous MOCOPA experience

• Hold a current full UK driving license with no more than 6 penalty points

• Have previous practical experience in a dual fuel role

• Have experience of operating mobile IT hardware
