Job Description
The Sales Engagement Officer would be responsible for engaging with prospects and customers to build and maintain relationships, close sales, and increase revenue. The role involves identifying potential customers, generating leads, nurturing relationships, and managing the sales pipeline.
Responsibilities
- Prospecting and lead generation: Identifying potential customers, researching their needs, and generating leads through various channels, such as email campaigns, social media, and networking events.
- Sales and negotiation: Engaging in sales conversations with prospects, identifying their needs, presenting solutions, and closing deals. Negotiating and managing pricing, and other terms.
- Relationship building: Building and maintaining strong relationships with customers, including conducting regular check-ins, addressing concerns, and providing exceptional customer service.
- Collaboration: Working closely with internal teams, such as marketing, admin, and management, to align on goals and deliverables, and to provide feedback on market trends and customer needs.
- Reporting and analysis: Monitoring sales metrics, such as conversion rates, sales cycle length, and revenue targets, and analysing sales data to identify opportunities for improvement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or relevant experience
- 2+ years of experience in sales or customer service.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Experience with CRM software and sales automation tools.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
