About the role
We are looking for 2 Process Maintenance Technicians to join a Managed Services Technical team with our international manufacturing client based in Sheffield.
As a Maintenance Technician you will repair, improve and maintain all the production equipment and perform reactive and planned maintenance on a wide range of manufacturing equipment. The role requires a high technical skill level alongside a proactive approach to resolving issues and implementing countermeasures.

Knowledge, skills & experience:
A time served recognised apprenticeship in an electrical or mechanical background discipline.
High level of diagnostic and fault-finding experience on plc-controlled equipment.
Demonstrable experience in system improvement.
Good mechanical system knowledge (pumps, vacuum, pneumatics, hydraulics).
Effective fault finding on critical production equipment.
Experience of fault finding and maintenance activity on PC, PLC, and electromechanically controlled production equipment.
Knowledge of automated control systems and manufacturing and process equipment is required.

A flexible approach to working hours including evenings and weekends. The role will involve working a rotating shift pattern covering early / day / late and weekends.
Work well as part of a team as well as using own initiative.
