Knowledge Manager

About the role

One of the region’s largest business membership organisations are looking to recruit a Knowledge Manager to join their experienced and passionate Policy and Knowledge team.

The role is key in driving the business knowledge programme and activities through member-led insight, using wider analysis and the development of creative strategies and products to deliver measurable impact.

Working with the Membership team, the successful candidate will ensure the knowledge programme is effective, relevant and drives positive membership growth.

As Knowledge Manager, you will have the opportunity to shape the way in which the company continues to be a credible voice on behalf of businesses in the North East of England and nationally.

You will support the Relationship Managers and the Director of Membership to build a knowledge offer with a demonstrable impact on membership, with a focus on target sectors, geographies, and sizes of business. 

There will also be a People Management and Organisational Development element to the role.

Skills and experience are important, but what is important above all else is character and willingness to learn, engage and achieve. It is vitally important that they find the right person who fits into their beliefs, culture and way of working!

About you

  • Research and interpretation – using data and insights to tell compelling stories

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Ability to plan, organise and prioritise your workloads

  • Well-developed interpersonal skills and the ability to create, maintain and promote good working relationships across a wide range of stakeholders

Benefits

£37,000 starting salary and flexible working over a 35-hour week.

Hybrid working is available.
