Are you immediately available for a new HR opportunity?
We’re working with a recognised charity based in Newcastle who are looking for a HR Lead.
This is a fixed-term 6-month contract, reporting into the CEO.
You will be responsible for leading and providing a professional comprehensive HR service ensuring compliance with charity policies, regulatory bodies, and employment legislation.
In this role you will need to have a hands-on approach to assist with the overall management of the human resources function.
Hybrid working is available.
Responsibilities:
- Manage employee relations e.g., performance, disciplinaries, grievances, investigations, absence, and redundancies
- Oversee the recruitment process including interviewing, writing job descriptions, preparing interview questions, and ensuring the right balance of staff
- Continuously monitor and review HR policies and processes and implement changes to reflect amendments in employment law
- Advise and support managers on best practice
- Provide statistical information and analyse potential trends
- Manage and oversee the processing of payroll
- Assist in designing remuneration and benefits packages
You will be CIPD qualified and possess excellent decision-making and stakeholder management skills.
In return you will receive a salary of circa £40-45k with a fantastic benefits package.
