About the role
We’re supporting a well-established organisation with a strong market presence and ongoing growth. This is a key role within the central finance function, offering exposure to senior stakeholders and the opportunity to make a tangible impact.
The role
This is a high-impact role where you will lead financial reporting, technical accounting and governance across a complex group structure. You will act as the go-to person for reporting, ensuring accuracy, compliance and best practice, while also driving improvements across the wider finance function.
Key responsibilities
Lead monthly, quarterly and annual reporting cycles, including group consolidation
Own statutory accounts preparation and external reporting requirements
Act as the technical accounting lead across IFRS and UK GAAP
Oversee tax compliance, including VAT, Corporation Tax and other regulatory obligations
Manage relationships with external auditors and advisors
Support budgeting, forecasting and KPI reporting processes
Contribute to acquisitions, finance projects and process improvements
Strengthen financial controls, governance and reporting frameworks
About you
Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA)
Strong background in financial reporting and technical accounting
Experience within a multi-entity or complex environment
Working knowledge of tax and compliance requirements
Confident communicator with the ability to engage stakeholders across the business
Proactive approach with a focus on continuous improvement
