Design Manager
Location: North East
Salary: £60,000 – £65,000 (depending on experience) plus car allowance
Role Overview
A growing technical team in the North East is seeking a skilled Design Manager. This role involves overseeing the coordination of technical details across multiple projects and ensuring seamless communication between various stakeholders including consultants and internal teams.
Key Responsibilities

Manage design projects, ensuring all technical information is accurate and effectively shared

Communicate regularly with clients, architects, and structural engineers to resolve queries promptly

Provide leadership and line management to the design team, supporting their development and workflow

Ensure projects meet deadlines and comply with quality standards throughout the design process

Utilize BIM tools such as Revit and AutoCAD to develop and review architectural technical details
Candidate Profile

Holds an HNC, HND, or higher qualification in a relevant field

Has experience managing design projects within a technical or architectural environment

Is proficient in Autodesk software including Revit and AutoCAD, with experience working in BIM

Demonstrates strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to handle competing priorities

Possesses excellent communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving
