CRM Manager

One of the largest motor retailers in the UK with a turnover exceeding 3 billion are looking for a CRM Manager to join their team.

This role is based in Gateshead with hybrid working available.

The Role

You’ll be responsible for the day-to-day management of all retail email and SMS activity across the business, with the role growing to integrate and optimise the new CDP. Activity will be directed at both new customers who become known during the sales process (e.g. responding to activity on the website), lapsed customers, and existing customers who we want to keep engaged so they come back for service, accessories and their next car.

This role will support the Head of CRM in onboarding the new CDP to deliver a single customer view which will enable the Marketing department to send omnichannel communications that include real-time personalisation.

Responsibilities

• Managing the development of the new email platform aligning to business and stakeholders' requirements

• Managing the final stages of the transition to the new email platform to deliver a seamless migration for all automated communication

• Owning the relationship with in-house design team, collaborating with our CRM team to ensure best practice and email journey optimisation

• Driving the innovation and testing strategies of email campaigns

• Working alongside the CRM team to ensure customer contact plan is forward thinking, taking segmentation and email strategy to the next level

• Demonstrate leadership within the team through using initiative, problem solving and supporting the CRM Executive

• Assisting with the development of future customer segmentation strategies in the CDP

About You

• Previous experience in CRM – use of relevant email and data systems, creation and operation of CRM activities.

• Confident in using corporate software and online marketing tools

• Confidence working with, analysing, and drawing conclusions from, data

• Knows how to brief agencies / studios to get good, effective creative work
