Client Experience Assistant

About the role

An established professional services firm is seeking a Client Experience Assistant to join its busy front of house team based in Newcastle upon Tyne.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys delivering exceptional customer service and thrives in a professional, client facing environment. The Client Experience team is often the first point of contact for clients and visitors, whether by telephone, email, or in person, and plays a key role in creating a positive and welcoming experience.

The successful candidate will provide professional and efficient support to both clients and colleagues while helping to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of front-of-house operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing a busy switchboard and handling incoming enquiries

  • Welcoming clients and visitors in a professional and friendly manner

  • Supporting the day to day operation of meeting rooms and client areas

  • Assisting with client meetings and events, including room set-up and refreshments

  • Handling incoming and outgoing post and scanning documentation where required

  • Providing general administrative and operational support as needed

This is a full-time position working Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week, between 8:00am and 8:00pm on a rota basis agreed in advance.

The ideal candidate will be organised, proactive, and committed to delivering high levels of service. You will also have:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • A professional and client-focused approach

  • The ability to work effectively within a team environment

  • Good IT skills, including confidence using Microsoft Office

  • Flexibility to occasionally work outside standard hours when required

Previous front-of-house, reception, hospitality, or professional services experience would be advantageous but is not essential.
