About the role
Due to continuous success, a Washington-based manufacturing company are looking to recruit an Accounts Assistant to work within their Finance department on a 6 month Fixed Term Contract with a view to go into a full-time permanent role.
The opportunity:
This is a full-time role, 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
If you are proactive, detail-oriented and interested in Finance, then this is the perfect role for you!
You will be responsible for:
Processing Accounts Payable Invoices.
Reconciliation of the intercompany accounts on a monthly basis.
Import and analysis Account Receivable Invoices.
General Ledger Account reconciliation.
Assistance with VAT returns.
Scanning of all Purchase Invoices and Sales Invoices.
You will be working within an experienced Accounts department, providing you with the opportunity to develop your existing accounting abilities in a new setting. The culture of this firm emphasises support and development. You will be joining a team of various backgrounds and ages.
Your skills will be centered on prior experience of Excel (pivot tables, lookups etc.) as well as experience with SAP or ERP.
