The team of Business Consultants care about the employer and apprentice securing their first job in the career. The organisation always goes above and beyond for everyone which is why the business is successful. This role will belong in their New Business team, providing a crucial part of a solution to the skills gap in the UK. Graduate and Junior Business Consultants are responsible for beginning the recruitment journey with potential clients and educating them on the benefits of hiring an apprentice.


A typical day will involve:


  • Identifying and sourcing your own prospects across a territory you are assigned to using various sources provided by the organisation

  • Contacting businesses over the phone, email, social media, news articles, partner referrals and working collaboratively with the Marketing team to identify opportunities, resulting in booking appointments with employers for Business Development Manager's to attend

  • Being able to build a rapport and relationship with companies and their decision makers promptly, as well as being able to engage them in the benefits of using the key products and services you will provide

  • Liaising with the Resourcing team on quality candidates and speaking to employers about those candidates in order to find them an apprenticeship opportunity

  • You will be expected to hit and exceed own personal targets set by management - in relation to the amount of appointments you are booking in

  • Being able to keep records up to date via the CRM system

  • Working alongside a Sales and Marketing Executive to help deliver various campaigns and strategies using Routes to Market

  • Sourcing and attending networking events nationally to network with potential clients - you will be expected to promote the brand as well as build your own contact database for the future


What we are looking for:


  • Must be able to demonstrate outstanding verbal and written communication skills as you will be responsible following training to identifying your own prospects whether this be done in person, social media or over the telephone

  • Able to receive and make telephone conversations with no hesitations and confidence

  • Able to work independently as well as collaborative with a team

  • You must be ambitious, determined and self-motivated to succeed in this organisation

  • You should have a natural drive to succeed targets

  • Previous experience in sales or customer service where you have been required to demonstrate the above would be highly beneficial, but not essential
