My client is an established organisation in the housing sector. Following recent acquisitions, they have a requirement for Finance Technician to join their team to cover a period of maternity leave and provide support around a Fixed Assets project.
The day to day requirements of the role will involve you providing support to the Finance Manager around Month End Reporting, VAT returns and various reconciliation tasks, whilst maintaining an accurate record of the fixed asset register. You will work closely with the development team and the IT team, gathering information from various sources and compiling the information for upload on to the company's asset management system. This will involve travelling to various sites so you must have your own car and a full driving license.
You will be an intermediate-to-advanced level user of Microsoft Excel with the ability to navigate and analyse large amounts of data efficiently.
This is an urgent requirement and therefore requires someone who is immediately available or available at short notice.
In order to be considered for this opportunity, you must be at least AAT L4 qualified or equivalent through relevant training or experience and your CV must demonstrate the following:
Experience of component accounting
Experience of working in partnership with internal and external stakeholders
Advanced level excel skills and experience of using other accounting software packages
Excellent communication skills
Ability to work autonomously
