The Business Development team is responsible for helping Karbon grow. This growth can come in many forms and the approach we take to growth will always be in line with our mission to provide strong foundations for the customers that we serve. We will look for opportunities to grow our offer through a range of activities including partnership development and new product or service development.

 

The team will work closely with internal and external partners and customers to explore opportunities and build robust plans for delivering on our growth projects. We will work with the business and our customers to generate new ideas, test those ideas, business case them and develop them through to implementation. Co-creation, collaboration and data driven decision making will be integral in our customer centric approach.

 

As this is a new team and new way of working from Karbon, you will be joining us at the beginning of our product development and innovation journey. Working with the small team and the rest of the business you will play a key role in opening up the possibility of innovation and product development within Karbon.

 

The person

 

  • You will be working in a product development or product marketing role within a large and complex B to C organisation.

  • We are looking for a strategic thinker with strong product development, innovation or business analyst experience.

  • You will be an excellent facilitator and will have experience of leading on complex cross team product or service developments.

  • You are likely to be comfortable in a highly visible role with a lot of a variety and be happy to influence and work with people from right across the business, at all levels.

  • Experience of developing strategies and plans that demonstrate strategic vision and foresight.

  • Experience of delivering excellence and improving services, to deliver increased social value or enhance the customer experience

  • Experience of collaborating and working as part of an effective senior team

  • Relevant degree or relevant professional qualification, or equivalent work experience, and evidence of continuing professional development
