Sales Executive
Ashington

NRG are working with Raytec in Ashington who are an international market leader in CCTV lighting, with markets throughout Europe. Their hazardous area division is established with existing business, however are looking for a target driven Sales professional to join their hazardous area team.

The Sales Executive will be responsible for growing the sales through lead generation right through to converting to sales in the hazardous division, whilst also building relationships with existing customers to maximise the long-term revenue.

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Be the first point of call to incoming customer enquiries via web forms, live chat or emails and maximise sales value and sales conversion from these enquiries

  • Day to day contact with key account and customers

  • Identify and develop sales opportunities with new and existing customers

  • Initial point of contact for pricing and product availability

  • Specify the correct products for customers

  • Provide all the supporting information and technical knowledge to allow our customers to win projects against the competition

  • First line technical support and troubleshooting

  • Responsible for growing sales with customers in target vertical and geographic markets

  • Track projects from enquiry to delivery.

  • A key part of the role is educating and training key customers.

  • Manage and develop a portfolio of key accounts

  • Attend trade shows and exhibitions

  • Visit customers when required

  • Keep an up to date sales project list

 

Skills and experience:

 

  • Passionate about sales and target driven

  • Able to learn a new market and retain technical information

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Excellent organisational skills

  • Strong commercial awareness

  • Good telephone manner

  • Good at negotiating and influencing others

  • Experience of working in B2B sales (desirable)

  • Experience or understanding in Lighting or LED’s (desirable)

  • Knowledge of ATEX and Hazardous Area Standards (desirable)
