NRG are working exclusively with a large organisation in the healthcare sector and due to their continued growth are looking to recruit a Senior Technical Development Lead.

 

 

The role of the Senior Technical Development Lead is key to maintaining a highly motivated team within their specialism who pride themselves in quality and excellence of service.

 

Duties for this role include:

  • Primarily to manage and lead on IM&T Programmes to ensure efficient procurement and Implementation of a range of projects for client organisations. Ensure the delivery of projects to meet the quality standards required, on budget and within the prescribed timescales.

  • Formulating strategies for IM&T services.

  • Providing expert advice on a range of highly complex IM&T areas e.g. Wireless Networks. LAN / WAN

  • Specification, design and estimated costs for new IT System implementations, which impact across clinical and non-clinical areas.

  • Liaise with suppliers to ensure effective implementation of this design, by coordinated implementation of the new infrastructure

  • Analyse highly complex project & IM&T reports to present at the Trust Board

  • To lead, inspire and motivate others to high performance by agreeing clear goals and objectives, providing support and guidance and creating opportunities for development

 

Knowledge, Skills, Training and Experience

  • Highly Developed specialist knowledge across range of project management procedures and techniques underpinned by theory. In-depth knowledge of IM&T Systems and procedures acquired through a combination of specialist training and relevant study to masters degree or equivalent level. Degree or significant experience of project management.

  • Qualification and experience in project management methodology, to at least PRINCE2 Practitioner level or equivalent.

  • Skills and experience in business case development.

  • Skills and experience in NHS IM&T business case models.

  • Skills and experience in POISE 2 procurement guidance and processes.

  • Knowledge and practical understanding and experience of Official Journal of the European Union (OJEU) procurement regulations.

 

Analytical Skills

  • Required to deal with highly complex facts or situations which require analysis, interpretation and comparison of a range of options.

  • Make judgments where there are conflicting views on the projects and on complex IM&T problems Required to carry out impact assessment on options in relation to budgets, staff and other resources, timetables and quality of outcomes.

 

Salary: Approx £40,500 starting salary plus fantastic public sector benefits.
