The role is to be a second point of contact within the branch to Customers and Customer Service Consultants, driving both performance in branch and the core values in the community & with our own people, while striving to make a real difference.


Main Duties of the role:


  • To motivate and monitor staff achievement of Branch Targets and sales objectives including organising staff levels


  • To ensure that all work is prioritised and completed while adhering to customer service standards


  • To identify training needs and support with coaching & training to continuously develop staff to fulfil the requirements of their role and development needs


  • To ensure that customer service standards are maintained at all times


  • To be able to complete all returns accurately and on a timely basis in accordance with procedures


  • To ensure the branch complies with all controls and procedures


  • To support with Team briefing sessions ensuring that staff are informed and kept up to date


  • To support with ensuring that the highest standards of performance are achieved from the staff and the performance review process is effectively completed


Knowledge, Skills & Experience required:

  • Will ideally have previous supervisory or management experience and be comfortable in both the support and the coaching of staff.


  • Great relationship building skills are a must as the role will often involve dealing with the public and supporting the manager in building the profile within the town.


  • A high level of numeracy will be required along with an understanding of systems, procedures and values.
