NRG are currently recruiting for an Account Manager to join our well established client who works within the manufacturing sector based in the Darlington area.


The role requires a candidate who has excellent customer service skills to work with existing clients to help grow the business – you will not be required to sell to new customers


Duties of the role include:-

  • Account management i.e. managing sales and relations with the customers

  • Plan and coordinate regular updates with clients

  • Interact with the sales team and other internal stakeholders to ensure actions are completed in timeframes acceptable to the customer

  • Ensure all sales orders and forecasts are entered into the system to make sure that goods are dispatched and invoiced on time

  • Manage the credit aspects of the account to ensure actions are taken to the satisfaction of all parties concerned

  • Identify opportunities to upsell to existing clients

  • Liaise with Purchasing to ensure there are sufficient stock levels at all times

  • Carry out all administration necessary and be highly organised at all times

  • Produce reports to document account performance

  • Highlight any issues and support the client to resolve issues

To be considered for this role you must:-

  • Have recent and considerable experience in an account management role

  • Understand manufacturing procurement and processes

  • Have excellent customer service skills

  • Have excellent written and verbal skills
