We’re looking for a Customer Service Team Leader to join and lead a UK Customer Service Team on a 12-month FTC to cover a period of maternity. Our client is an established brand name manufacturer and the role is based in their North East headquarters.
The ideal candidate will be someone that can drive performance in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about people development and customer experience.
The Customer Services team is responsible for all aspects of customer service provision in their region, from product/application advice, through to order fulfilment and post-sale support.
The salary is £26,000 - 27,000 depending on your experience.
Great working hours & company benefits:
Monday to Friday 8.30am – 4.30pm or 9am – 5pm
25 days holiday + bank holiday
Leading a team of Customer Service Advisors to ensure they deliver world class customer experiences
Be responsible for all of your team’s customer interactions and performance
Carrying out quality checks for each advisor, providing them with regular feedback and coaching
Ensuring all customer requirements are fully met within agreed timescales
Daily management of your team and conducting team meetings
Developing staff through monthly 121's and ongoing training and coaching
Previous experience in a customer focused Team Leader role, ideally for a manufacturing business
Strong computer system experience, ideally ERP and MS Excel
Passionate about people development and customer experience
Ability to work under pressure, manage your time effectively and work on your own initiative
Excellent analytical, decision making and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication skills at all levels
