We are delighted to be partnering with South Tyneside Homes for an exciting new vacancy within the Asset and Property Services Team.
The Finance Officer is critical to ensure the Asset and Property Services Division consistently deliver a high-quality service to their customers.
With over 16,000 homes across the region, South Tyneside Homes is rapidly growing.
They offer hybrid working and flexible start times with a Monday to Friday schedule.
The role will supplement the current financial management arrangements within the Company, focusing on providing the management team and budget holders financial and management information, which will inform strategic decision-making.
You will also work with the management team, budget holders and South Tyneside Council to ensure effective budget setting, cost control and financial management.
You will drive the planning and delivery of sustained performance improvements based upon proactive financial management methods, designed to drive out non-value activities and increase the value for money to frontline services.
You will also work alongside the Operational Delivery Teams to ensure a cost effective and customer focused service is delivered to internal and external customers.
You should have experience of operating strategically and possess excellent communication skills.
We are looking for someone who has a passion for excellent service delivery and is able to demonstrate a strong customer focus, who has an outstanding track record managing complex projects to drive value for money.
